In addition to Drop-in and Personalized Tutoring, the Learning Den offers specialized review programs for the following courses:
- Organic chemistry (AS.030.205)
- Intro to chemistry (AS.030.101)
- Physics for the biological sciences (AS.171.103)
In these review initiatives, successful and passionate student session leaders lead detailed reviews of the content. These review sessions are tailored to specific instructors and employ teaching strategies that break down the course material and help you focus your independent study.
The Organic Chemistry Initiative (OCI), General Chemistry Initiative (GCI), and General Physics Initiative (GPI) all have their own schedule. Notice that these sessions meet twice a week. However, the content for each weekly session is the same, so you only need to attend one session. Additionally, Drop-in Tutoring will also be held by each program for students to ask additional questions and receive more assistance. Consider joining the program’s GroupMe to ask questions online.
